Akai Professional MPK Mini MKII White | 25-Key Ultra-Portable USB MIDI Drum Pad & Keyboard Controller with Joystick, VIP Software Download Included - Limited Edition

    • A nice bit of gear easy to set up fits in a back pack when yer on the go and if the mood strikes u ..small enough to bang out a beat with yer ipad or laptop etc looks great and keys are nice pads are kool
    • Key action a bit "squishy" but works well for composing, etc.
    • I am new to this and found the learning curve a bit difficult which is no fault of this product.
    • very nice and every bit the quality I would expect from Akai
    • A bit pricey
    • The software security is way over the top and a bit crazy
    • Two things I didn't like about the product is first the rubber feet having unequal heights, so the keyboard shakes a little bit when I use it
    • Keys wobbled side to side a bit (primary issue for me), had no consistent feel, and were a bit uneven
    • I deducted a star because the highest key is a bit loose and sits lower than the other keys.
    • If I didn’t need the hundred bucks I’d really love to pee on this ridiculous bit of silicon and plastic and then light it on fire and then crucify it twice and then run it over with a stump grinder, and then grind it into dust and feed it to the CEO of Akai
    • The unit is fun, the keys a bit too small, and the price/value is based on the software which didnt install and therefore this is just a toy for a 3 year old to pound on
    • It's a bit hard to learn for
    • these a bit, it's almost impossible to figure out
    • Also, the beat pads are (to me) the slightest bit un-responsive
    • Might be a bit difficult to play if you've got sausage fingers, but you can get used to it
    • This would be 5 stars if the setup were a bit quicker and the plugins worked.
    • I wouldn’t recommend for live performances though; the keys are a bit too stiff for the nature of playing live.-
    • Kinda wish the knobs were a bit more useful instead of things that your software can do, but overall I really enjoyed it
    • The smaller keyboard is a bit tricky, but I can still form chords, so it's fine for my purposes.
    • It was a bit tedious to download the software and activate
    • I use the MPK Mini MKII for producing hip-hop, rap, R&B, and funky music
    • but i like it, easy to set up, even though it will take some time learning, it works like a charm when you get it all set up to your liking!
