Can't download software to even use the stupid thing!

My son makes beats and this was the best thing we've ever invested in for him

This particular model is the MPK2, and it's one of the best things to happen for portable musicians.

Words cannot describe how much fun this thing is

What I like about it is you can control how loud you would want your instrument or plug in to sound, as to where the negative thing is it doesn't always hit when you want it to, but that's not really an issue since I can just edit it later

I consider myself quite tech literate, but this midi controller is the hardest damn thing I've ever tried to set up with a computer

This was really the only bad thing I had to say about this.

Two things I didn't like about the product is first the rubber feet having unequal heights, so the keyboard shakes a little bit when I use it

I a few words, thias controller is simply stunning, I'm musician, and I needed a midi controller in order to recrod piano and strings sections, and this one makes things so much easier and enjoyable, leaving aside all the programs and set ups abailable on this midi controller, which are A LOT, and I'm still learning how to use them, it has so many great features, the keys have an incredible pressions sensor, that allows you to put the right intesity on every single note you are playing, the body of the controller is really compact, and comfortable to play, the drum pads responsiveness/build quality is amazing, it really helps if you want to creat a drum section from scratch

The knobs need to be filtered through an effects plugin to do useful things, but they're quite nice once you do, with narrow min and max areas on both ends of the dial
