takes 5 minutes minimum to heat up, makes a load noise when turned on, does not get hot enough to melt pouches and usually has to be put through twice, it sounds like it is laboring when on, very noisy!still considering returning it, I think we might have a defective machine!

It works perfect on dark colors, no other laminator is capable of laminating black or dark blue with the smooth glossy finish without any bubbles, but Akiles does it with ease!The only thing I wish it had is an extendable tray in the back

This machine has worked great up until recently and we have used it consistently for multiple projects

Other than the warm-up time of about 5 mins, this machine is fantastic.
The machine just went cold and I had to poke around to find the little notch next to the power input to pull out the fuse casing
