Even trying to be frugal with apps- chrome, ebay, facebook, youtube, amazon, y'know the basics, means I'm at 1.9 GB used, and I have to delete cache memory almost every other day to have enough space to get email.

Even updating an app requires you to uninstall another app to free up enough space first.

When you try to clear space by resetting Google apps, they quickly update to fill the space

Only the internal memory can be used so you are limited as to what apps you can download due to internal memory only
