If you want to save money, this still is a good deal, but I suggest you change the strings to Aquila Strings no matter what spare strings come with it

The ukulele has a nice sound to it, the tuners are geared which makes it easier to tune, and the book and video have helped him a great deal in the process of learning the basics.

And you need a tuner--the Snark Tuneris not expensive and can be used on other types of instruments as well (guitar, etc.)This was a good deal at under thirty simoleons, but if you are really serious to learn uke or want your kids to learn, the setup I mentioned may keep them interested longer

Other than those problems, the ukulele itself appears to be solid and looks like the picture and if there were picks, CD's for a soprano and if the strings were better quality this would be a fantastic deal for the price.

This is my first Ukelele and for the price and included items, I'd say this was a pretty good deal
