Just a few rotations of the cleaning pad will remove the dust and grim, but not of course, the scratches

The pivot pin of the orbitrac body (cleaning pad arm) goes into the record hole and the cleaning cartridge is rotated around the record 3-4 times

I now clean my vinyl on the protective non-skid pad before placing the record on the turntable

If you're cleaning really dirty records, your pad will get dirty really quick

It is nice to see the cleaning solution and cleaning pad refills available from Amazon, although they do seem a bit pricey

The combination of the cleaning cartridge pad and cleaning solution does a much better job picking up dust and wiping off dirt and fingerprints than a dry anti-static brush

However, I think I will end up going through cleaning pads before I need a new bottle of cleaning solution, as it only takes a little to clean
