I hate giving bad reviews but this remote does NOT work well at all

I was hesitant to purchase this remote due to a few negative reviews. .but took a chance and it works great#

Like the other reviews say, has a low range and the remote has to point directly at the roku receiver but for the price you pay it does work well.

I believed the "high" number of ratings (assumed purchases) and ignored the one star reviews that spoke of the utter lack of workability of this remote unless you are VERY close to the ROKU unit

That said, for someone who doesn't care about that, I did test it to see how far away it worked, since others said you had to be really close (read the negative reviews after purchasing)
