My room is illuminated all night with the led light that this thing has and there's no way to turn it off

This indicates that the surge protector is working, but it also creates an annoyingly bright "night light" when it is turned on in a dark room, and some people might want to try and find a way to darken this with black electrical tape or sharpie

The lights are annoying if you want it in a dark room like a media room

It's a nondescript form factor and color that I can hide easily behind the TV stand (it can be wall mounted, though I don't plan to wall mount it).Cons: As many have noted, the green LEDs build into this (one to signify that it is properly grounded, the other to signify that surge protection is functioning correctly) are very bright, especially so in a dark room

My only complaint is that the LED is super bright, can light up a dark room which makes it not ideal for using in your bedroom.

First off the light IS noticeable in a dark room but if you have a decent location or its not a big deal
