Amazon Basics 8-Outlet Power Strip Surge Protector | 4,500 Joule, 6-Foot Cord

    • As shown by other commenters, unless you're using this for items with the small standard plugs, you're unlikely to get more than 3-4 things plugged into it; the spacing just doesn't work
    • Perfect for Salon Use!I attached it to the side of my Salon Trolley Cart!Great space for larger plugs.
    • The spacing is also not the greatest if you have multiple large plugs
    • Basically if you plug in any standard grounded plugs on one side, you'll not be able to the plugs on the other side because there is not enough space in between the left and right sides
    • The cord length is excellent and leaves more than enough space to not trip over it.
    • I think there could be better spacing in between each outlet, you can't always have something plugged in right next to other items.
    • The cord it plenty long, which is great, and the spacing between the plugs are perfect.
    • Sturdy unit, outlets are well-spaced.
    • The 3 wide spaced outlets on one side is acceptable to each side of a block power adapter, however, their is not enough space separating the outlets from the strip of outlets on the other side
    • Love the spacing in between outlets for larger laptop chargers and cell phone chargers
    • While your items are all decently protected from surges on nice spacing between them, you can provide street lighting for your entire block.
    • Not enough space between the two sides using an Alex charging block, laptop block and iPad blocks out 6 outlets...
    • Good spacing on the outlets for larger AC adapters, etc
    • The spacing between the outlets is great for multiple large plugs.
    • Too many cords at work and the outlet strips they stock had either too short of a cord to sit on my desk (on the floor under the desk just mega inconvenient for me) and didn't have the right spacing to allow me to plug in what I
    • Poor outlet spacing makes this pretty unusable unless you are trying to plug in 8 lamps
    • I chose this power strip for several reasons, the wide space in between the plugs on one side of the power bank as this is perfect for those pesky cubes that most screw drivers have to charge them.
    • The different spacing of the plug-ins made it easier to plug in the various devices and their transformers.
    • It looks like it is spaced apart and can fit a lot, anything bigger than a regular cord cable is too big
    • Would love a little more spacing between
    • Impressive joules rating but 1) bright green "power on" light is annoying at night; 2) outlets are spaced very closely, and it's unlikely that you'll be able to use all of them
    • I like the spacing on the plugs to allow for some of the larger modern plug boxes, and the look is sleek and as compact as it should be given that I also want room for my plugs actually fit on there
    • I can’t use any of the other 5 because the space is so cramped together
    • Very poor plug spacing
    • I like that that 3 of the outlets are spaced out sideways, but I wish they were spaced out longways as well -- just so each outlet can be used for larger adapter-style plugs without the adjacent top outlets getting obstructed
    • The spacing on the one side of the bar works great with A.C. adapters and what not
    • This surge protector has ample space to hold 5 small plugs and 3 larger plgs.
    • There isn’t enough spacing between the plugs meaning you probably won’t use all of them which defeats the purpose
    • The spacing for large transformers is very nice too.
    • However, the surge protector is only 3” wide, which doesn’t allow for enough space for the standard plug outlets to be used when the larger cube plugs are used.
    • There's just not enough space there.
    • However, the design of the outlets does not allow enough space between the "front" and "back" rows to be used at the same time.
    • Now I use 8 of these strips to help protect my electronics at my sticks and brick house as well as in my trailer even though both have surge protectors built in to offer even more protection
    • Works as it should, doesn't feel cheap, the cord is definitely heavy duty, and the light isn't too bright!
    • Works as it should.
    • After California PG&E performs its usual electrical difficulties over the summer, I'll update if there is a problem
