A few months ago, I noticed that the bread is only toasted in one side, and now the mechanism to hold the bread down in the toaster randomly won’t work

I like my bread slightly toaster (usual setting 1/2, my husband likes it almost burned (4/5) with this amazon basic the setting are more 2 for me and 3 for hubby

It meets my needs, does a good job toasting bread, english muffins.

Your bread ends up warped and squished and wiggly because it doesn't actually fit

It has a lovely design and eventually distributes the right amount of heat for nice, golden toasted bread

I found it doesn't toast frozen bread slices evenly--thawed bread was a little better, but I store my bread loaves in the freezer since we don't eat toast every day.

I’ve been using this product for probably 3 months now and it still burns my bread even on the lowest temperature

With it's dual modes of "untoasted" or "burned bread" it is very versatile.

The outer sides of the toaster do okay, but the inner sides are hotter and burn the bread.

Unless you make a habit of buying the cheapest bread at the supermarket, don’t buy the cheapest toaster on amazon.

I kept the setting on 4 and it burnt my bread

No seeing the bread pop out the top

However, it no longer smells and works great... toasts bread, bagels and English muffins perfectly.

And it clearly states without anything in it today in high, the toast in 4, 3 times and the smell will burn off as with anything new

I've used it already and it worked as I expected it.

I have to put it almost on all the way as dark as it will go for it to just toast basic bread lightly.
