The thicker disks make different noises inside the drive, as if the drive may have some difficulty with the extra thickness, but I don't know whether or not it's a cause for concern.

Works great, bought them to copy a bunch of DVD images of games and applications to try save some hard drive space

I have been using these AmazonBasics DVD+R (as well as their DVD-R) for years

There isn't much to say about these except it is blank DVD-R media that works exactly as expected

Other Brands do not raise theirs.so with the above being said,id rather purchase a more expensive DVD-r from a reputable brand then deal with price increases and the stuff all over the blank disc anyday.

(Just the +R) have finalizing issues, and I live on a tight budget

As it turns out, the spindle broke in half (roughly), and some discs ended up falling out haphazardly and perhaps got scratched as I fumbled around with them.
