    AmazonBasics 4.7 GB 16x DVD-R (100-Pack Spindle)

    • I don’t trust digital drives, so make discs on
    • The thicker disks make different noises inside the drive, as if the drive may have some difficulty with the extra thickness, but I don't know whether or not it's a cause for concern.
    • I have a very picky DVD drive and so far these discs are working just fine
    • I was wanting to upgrade to a faster dual layer drive
    • I've lost count of the number of DVDs that the drive has had trouble reading
    • I've since moved on to portable hard drives and online storage cloud solutions because for the price to data size, it's just a better and more permanent solution for my needs
    • Works great, bought them to copy a bunch of DVD images of games and applications to try save some hard drive space
    • Usually I rely on thumb drives and externals as they hold so much more but this is a nice, inexpensive way to store data that I don't want hogging my hard drive
    • I forgot to mention that I had to drag an external drive out of the closet to use these...none of my internal drives would recognize them.
    • Probably damaged my disk drive
    • I suggest getting a disk drive cleaner
    • We all have our own ideas and opinions on what is the best , I will only say that for me SATA DVD burners and SATA hard drives work really well with Multi-Core processors having Maximum Memory , regardless of who made it
    • Either the drive won't write to them at all or they will work in one drive, but not another.
    • I've since moved on to portable hard drives and online storage cloud solutions because for the price to data size, it's just a better and more permanent solution for my needs
    • Nothing too flashy, but the drive is capable of the CD-Rs' rating of 52x write speeds
    • Problems arise when playing on consoles with Bluray drives cause all Bluray drives have Cineva protection
    • Multiple SATA hard drives are even better
    • Immediately, copy the contents to a folder on your hard drive.
    • For the price you'll not find a solid state drive that will get 470 gigs of storage space without the possibility of the drive deciding one day it doesn't want to work
    • I'm about 30 into this 100 stack and all the DVDs have worked in the normal fashion none have failed but my optical drive is a 1 year old LG and ive probobly burnt less than 1000 disks on it
    • I have a 16.1 megapixel sony cyber shot that takes really good pictures and the rotating magnetic foil disc was the best method I could find to save the pictures without taking up space on my hard drive
    • drive burns these at 16x, and 12, 8, and 6x (no 4x).
    • Well, I have to say I have tried only a number (have not had these that long) of these, A) in my external USB burner for my laptop (my internal is shot), my DVR hybrid (records to DVDs instead of a Hard drive), and I have played these back on my trusty Sony DVD
    • I'm using a new laptop with a fantastic Blu-Ray drive (of course, we're just talking about DVD-R discs, not Blu-Rays) and I'm getting perfect results
    • The first thing I would do if I start getting coasters is to clear as much space as possible on my hard drive (PC users might need to defrag the drive and then reboot my Mac or PC and try again.
    • I bought this as a gift for a mothers day gift for a friend of mine in need of blank DVDs for backing up data and clearing up space on her hard drives
    • I defragged my hard drive and did a cd copy simulation which came out fine.
    • Nice +R DVD when they are on sale (or used)
    • Amazon's Basics 4.7 GB 16x DVD-R (100-Pack Spindle) works just as well as any other brands of blank recordable DVDs.
    • These AmazonBasics CD-R's work flawlessly
    • (I think DVD+R is better than DVD-R in some technical details, though I forget exactly)They did get up to the rated
    • The rest of the data was fine). Also tested the 'terrible' Memorex DVD+R's that everyone complains about (they got 3/5 stars on
    • A good basic DVD-R at the right price!
    • I have been using these AmazonBasics DVD+R (as well as their DVD-R) for years
    • There isn't much to say about these except it is blank DVD-R media that works exactly as expected
    • Other Brands do not raise theirs.so with the above being said,id rather purchase a more expensive DVD-r from a reputable brand then deal with price increases and the stuff all over the blank disc anyday.
    • (Just the +R) have finalizing issues, and I live on a tight budget
    • I have to say these are the best DVD-R discs I've ever used.
    • They're great quality DVD+R discs.
    • excellent dvd-r.
    • I always burn dvd+r/-r at 8x
    • Waste your money as any Amazon customer i though their products would be of good quality
    • As it turns out, the spindle broke in half (roughly), and some discs ended up falling out haphazardly and perhaps got scratched as I fumbled around with them.
