I popped in a more expensive blank DVD I had laying around and my project burned off just fine but follow it up with one of these discs and no dice.

There isn't much to say about these except it is blank DVD-R media that works exactly as expected

If you have a "finicky" DVD burner of any type (including a Humax) then I HIGHLY recommend that you try these

If you have a DVD burner which will only burn at 4X or 8X speed, then that's all you're going to get out of these blank DVD's.

Awful Dvd discs, tried 4-5 Disks they would not burn, first thing when you open the package says may need firmware update and to go to the manufacturer of your computers website to download the updates if you need it.

Blank DVD's should work in any type of DVD writer, at their rated recording speed, but in reality they don't.

They work as well as Any blank DVD media I've ever purchased.

Wonderful DVD's

The DVD's are fine, but the packaging is too cheap and fragile

I have used very expensive DVD'S in the past and many have been bad in them

They playback with no problems in my Audiovox and Kawasaki portable DVD players, Sony and Memorex home DVD players.

I always burn dvd+r/-r at 8x

These are reasonable quality (My ADIP was AML-003-00) and produce low error rates (PIE/C2 etc, see: [...] in a Samsung S223Q (you know, one of the few DVD writers that can burn the cheap Memorex DVD+R DL discs effortlessly and without errors), with a smooth transfer test playback that scales linearly right up to 19X on the outer edge with no dropouts or retries

I haven't gotten through the entire spindle of 100 DVDs, especially given that it seems like the DVD is getting phased out, but I see no reason to not give this particular package anything less than high marks

I don't think I will order these again when for a few bucks more I can get a better quality DVD

In other words, if you have a DVD burner that supports a transfer rate of 32X and you are burning your files onto a 16X blank DVD, the maximum speed your burner will be able to use is 16X, even though though your burner is capable of burning at a faster rate.
