This tripod expands up to 60 inches, provides great stability and quick latch for removing/placing your camera on the tripod

Now the latch that controls the head of tripod is broken

This is a bit annoying for transport, as it would be nice to just leave the base piece attached to my camera when setting up and taking down the tripod frequently while moving from place to place, but I don't want to risk the latch getting damaged in transport while it's sticking out open

After 4 hours of moving it around and shooting I was walking back to the studio and the latch came loose and my camera fell off the tripod, lens first on the floor

The screw holding the latch had worked itself loose and the adapter fell off the tripod when transporting the camera in a horizontal position

I can see where this would be an excellent choice for an outdoor photographer as you can easily set and secure this on uneven terrain
