The monopod with its nice cushy grip and being collapsible, also makes for a nice walking stick with a threaded foot at the end which when tightened leaves a pointed but not sharp end of the metal shaft sticking out and when loosened you have a rubber tip that takes its place

You can still use the bag to carry it,,, It just has the ball head outside on top sticking out.67 inch is sure tall enough when fully extended.
