AmazonBasics 7 Port USB 2.0 Hub Tower with 5V/4A Power Adapter

    • This little thing feels like a plastic toy when you open it up, but it's actually a pretty solid device.
    • Great device
    • Works great for plugging in all my peripherals as well as any devices I need to charge
    • Works great for plugging in all my peripherals as well as any devices I need to charge
    • I like this device but the power cord should be in the rear of the unit for easier access to be place on the desktop.
    • Flawless device
    • I would not recommend this device to my friends, and certainly not for use with Linux systems.
    • I've had it 2-days so far, at first it didn't recognize my Logitech Web Cam (Unknown Device in Windows 7), so I unplugged the Web Cam, and plugged it back-in, and it was fine, problem solved
    • good device for the price
    • This is the perfect device to free up electrical outlets which results in less "wire clutter".
    • Excellent device!
    • the hub comfortably supports 5 usb devices in the back and 2 in the front, the LED light lets you know its getting power from the wall this hub requires a usb A to B connector which is included in the package but something to keep in mind
    • The power cable does, if used, block all but the most compact devices/cables on the lower port in the back
    • I constantly needs to be rebooted and doesn't handle multiple devices well.
    • A great little device for the price!
    • They should have just made it one solid device.
    • Anyway this device is cheap and a short term fix for whatever you use it for
    • Great little device, worked well and was smaller than I expected
    • Great little device, worked well and was smaller than I expected
    • The perfect connecting device for any CPU
    • Excellent device
    • I've initiated large file transfers to external drives connected to it just to have it "lose" the device in the middle of the process and having to start from scratch
    • This really is one of the best devices that I use!
    • It should be able to support seven devices, not just 7 ports
    • Absolutely terrible experience with this hub...probably the power adaptor.1) Would tell the computer that it was hub powered but would not support any usb device that required hub power.2) USB cord to computer and power adaptor cord would not insert all the way into unit...the silver shield part was showing after I attempted to insert the connector3) Terrible design...a bunch of amateurs put USB connectors on every part of this box, making access and cord management a problem
    • Very convenient and truly good looking design providing even choice for the vertical or the horizontal position of the adapter on the desk.5 ports on back side and two on front side for such a compact device is, probably, the maximal possible solution.
    • (I actually bought this RS485 adapter elsewhere, as it was rather expensive on amazon)Overall, the Raspberry Pi is an awesome device, and this USB hub was the perfect addition
    • its not bad smaller than I thought but its a cool little device.
    • I have used this device for a couple of years now and it works fine
    • Amazing Device
    • Great device
    • I don't generally use this for most my hard drives as they are 3.0, but for a basic 2.0 this works flawlessly and supplies a good power to devices that need it.
    • I've done some minimal testing with a new Logitech keyboard and mouse, as well as a couple mass storage devices
    • The plugs could use a little more spacing and the whole device could use a little more weight because it jerks about when you're trying to plug/unplug devices.
    • The problem with a lot of hubs is that they can't power devices that need extra power, like hard drives, and that's where this one shines
    • i am tired of USB hubs that dont have enough power for reasonable devices
    • Wonderful little device
    • Take the load off your computers ports as well as a charging station for my portable music device.
    • It does have two "high speed" ports on the front for charging more powerful devices, but I have not used those yet, the ports on the back are all low power (1A or less.
    • This is a great device that does exactly as advertised.
    • My laptop has two USB 3.0 ports (dedicated to external hard drives) and only one USB 2.0 port, so this hub is ideal, allowing me to connect slow devices like keyboard, mouse and flash drives
    • GOOD DEVICE FOR EXPANDING MY HOME NETWORK.
    • Its also performing far better than I expected as I have wireless headphones, keyboard/mouse phone charging, Xbox controller and two flash drives plugged in all at the same time with no stutter, dropped devices, "format your drive" crap, or unknown device issues.
    • All in all, an inexpensive device that works okay--just manage your expectations towards the downside if you choose this product.
    • One tiny thing that isn't really a big deal, but maybe someone who is making these is looking at reviews for ideas to improve this device
    • A USB Hub equipped with a power adapter should not restrict high power devices to using two of the ports (Ones in front).
    • Great little device for adding ports when needed
    • Really cool device, offers more connections options for laptop and pc-with the additional USB ports.
    • Not only did it remove the need for all those long cables stretching around the room, but it also offered me a desktop powered USB port I can tap into for my smart devices
    • I love the mounting device that comes with it.
    • Sometimes, devices just stop working completely in mid operation
    • All those devices work just as they
    • You can lay this device on its side but the cables move it about anyway unless you anchor it in some way
    • great!I
    • works great also I like the fact that you don't have to use the power adapter, unless you want to charge a phone or something, my other hub has to be pluged in regardless.
    • It works as I desired for one third the reg
