    AmazonBasics 7 Port USB 2.0 Hub Tower with 5V/4A Power Adapter

    • Permanently attached to the hub I have an Apple wired keyboard, an Apple USB-ethernet adapter, a USB/lightning cord for plugging in my iPhone, and a Seagate 2.5" portable drive
    • : It works in allowing me to access my external hard drives and hook up a printer
    • All others (iPods, pen drives, Kindle, external hard drives etc.) work perfectly.
    • I do a lot of photographic work and have a dedicated USB line for the cameras, 3 thumb drives and a remote hard drive used for backup
    • I ran out of USB ports (One 3.0 and two2.0 ports).The portable HD drive and the portable CDROM drives I use require TWO ports to supply the power
    • This was a surprise but a good one because I wanted to hide it behind my picture frames to use with airport extreme and some hard drives as network drives.
