AmazonBasics Apple Certified 30-Pin to USB Cable for Apple iPhone 4, iPod, and iPad 3rd Generation - 3.2 Feet (1.0 Meter)

    • This works for an iPhone 4 for breathing some life into an antiquated albeit still very functional phone (I use it almost exclusively for offline GPS directions with the Navigon app).I've had it for a year and use it quite regularly
    • It's not the phone's fault, as Apple branded cables still keep a constant connection.
    • I was finally prompted to write this review because it took me 10 minutes to get a connection that would charge my dead phone
    • The cords that are similarly priced (such as those made by Radio Shack) did not work as consistently well -- when I used them, the phone would generally have to be positioned in one particular way in order to take a charge.
    • My phone is old but it works for me.
    • A quality cable that didn't cost too much for my phone - hasn't broken yet.
    • Bought this for my first smart phone, iphone 4 which I rarely use
    • A cheap 4$ gas station phone performs better and oddly replaced this cord
    • My phone charges no problem with other chargers
    • (phone is a bit paranoid, I suppose) and use your importing software (Picasa for me).
