One of them only had sound coming out of either the left or right channel

Which leads to the next weird issue - The speakers are not labelled left or right channel

I am also on a mission to get headphone and speaker manufacturers to label left and right channels and these are NOT labeled (though speaker setups where one has a volume control normally have the control on the right as this does).
