the surface is smooth and compatible with anybrype of mouse

The surface is too dark and slick to be reflective.

I have had better ones in the past with rougher surface on the bottom that stay put better than this one

Extremely comfortable wrist rest and easy glide surface of my computer mouse

But the surface is very smooth which I like, easy for me to wipe off to clean it, and the pad is very comfortable

but then there's a few that have the ultra friction free surface

It is a very smooth surface, and while there was some early "squeaking" that is no longer happening

Some higher-end mousepads will have the edge sewn with the border to help protect the surface

It will not work on soft surfaces.

It is very good over all, responsive fabric, good surface not to absorb, gel is comfy.
