I bought a one time adjustable metal frame to hang the folders than put the metal frame inside a crate and it looks perfect and easy to move the folders back and forth as well as travel with them.

They don't actually hang, because the hooks aren't deep enough, Coupled with the cheap banker box, that doesn't hold it's shape, so the folders don't secure to the sides.

The "hooks" or whatever they're called, that ride on the rails, are extremely shallow, such that if you aren't extremely careful when you move any of the folders, one end of several folders is likely to come off the rails, which in the case of using a file cart without a bottom, causes all the folders to fall to the ground, spilling and scrambling their contents.

In this way when I want to check if the cat has had shots it is easy to find the right folder and pull out the right paperwork without messing everything up in the drawer
