The only instructions that came with it were how to hang the arm section on a stud using the template provided

Looks nice and glad to have a stand but Amazon take note: we need clearer instructions and not just simple diagrams especially considering that the stand is going on a tv that cost a thousand dollars, we’d like to be sure that we got it right from the start.

My fiancé installed this for me and he said the instructions were unnecessarily difficult; however, I suspect they are like that to work with many different tv models.
