I was tempted to spend a pretty penny on a good HDMI so it works and lasts because every HDMI cable on Amazon has reviews stating that the screen flickered or was black with their new cable - just the problem I'm trying to fix

At first this was the ideal HDMI cord- after a few uses it started interacting strangely with my electronics

You might also note, that they are a slightly stiffer then normal HDMI cable as well
