The front compartment has pen holders, a pocket for randoms and a mesh zipped pocket as well and is lightly padded

The compartment that holds your camera and lens is inside of a zipper part and then the top of the bag latches with 2 latches, so it secures everything well.

However I had difficulties housing my large micro four thirds camera equipment and 2 lenses (Panasonic GX8) even though the interior compartments can be manipulated

Added a second camera plus lenses and was able to finagle it all around with the adjustable padded compartments, but finally need to upgrade because I can't fit all my lenses inside anymore
