Now the other cable has failed and Amazon won't replace it even though the website explicitly says I am in the warranty window.

We have 8 kids and if I was single, this cable may have lasted until Apple decides to screw over their customers with yet another proprietary power cable.

Or just spend the money to get a good quality charging cable in the first place.

I was so tired of being nickeled and dimed by the original manufacturer - bend the cable to often and the cable becomes useless.

This is the second cable I have purchased and it breaks at the end that plugs into my Ipad

but the wire almost immediately began to fray where the cable connects to the Lightning plug and now it doesn't work.
