I'm pretty sad because usually the "recommended" Amazon products are pretty good, but this one seems like a rip-off.

the old one was a 10 foot black lighting cable of an unknown brand because the logo worn off, it finally broke after one of the small contact points on the Apple device connector burnt out on both sides, the amazon basic came two days early and was just like my old one, the only bad thing was the amazon basic logo came off after a could of rubs, I don’t mind that because it’s all black now wich I like better any ways, I would definitely recommend to any friends and will most likely buy some 6foot ones in the future

I absolutely love amazon basics

I have used amazon basics cables for long, and even recommended them to others, but the recent buy is giving me the dreaded error which I won’t expect from ‘Apple certified’ product.

It's strange how this cheap amazon cable has lasted now about a year and held up better than my apple cable.

Amazon messed up on the shipping and I only received this 3ft cord, so i have a couple days before I get the 6ft and 10ft cords

I normally love the amazon basics items and have been buying my phone chargers from Amazon basics for years now but this one was just horrible

I love Amazon basics but sadly this product isn’t my favorite.

Amazon, if you're reading this, just make the insulation a little thinner and secure the insulation to the connector itself and then put a strain relief over

Amazon basics are as good or better than any cables at a much better price.

I thougtht is it had Amazon's approval and they cost a little more than others, it would last longer.

I have had the Iphone reject the apple lighting charger, but never the amazon.

Amazon did offer a replace / refund given it was within the 1 year warranty period.

Since I already have it now, I don't want to waste Amazon's money or my time returning it

An iPhone needs 1amp-1.8amps to charge at the optimal rate, so the cord does appear to work as it’s supposed to
