But for bulkier use or just as mere folders I recommend something sturdier.

The outside box was not damaged, so it appears that the folders were damaged when they were sent to me.

These folders are a nice basic manila folder, with 2-prong fasteners on the top of each side and a generously sized upper left side tab for labeling

I've never used the file folders that have fasteners though they seem to be handy for keeping papers in the folder and free from getting bent and wrinkled

If you have a packrat in the family that keeps all his mail, maybe buy him a box of these and tell him to at least sort out and store the important papers, you never know when you might need to access them.

The amazon basics manila file folder with fastener 50 count is a legal size folder that can hold legal size documents and can also be hole punched and added to the fastener of the folder as well to keep everything within the folder organized and in place

The 2-prong tabs will require a hole punch that is adjustable to about 2 ¾ inches wide, or a single-hole punch will work also.
