I could see me losing a casual grip on the phone because there is little tack on the case.

It gives a great grip to phone

I worried that it might have a cheaper outer layer and begin to peel away, but so far with 3 weeks of ownership it is sturdy and has a great grip feel to it.

Just the right amount of tackiness, so it won't fall out of your pocket, yet grip is good.

The buttons are tactile, but they are fairly smooth with the case so it is a little hard to push sometimes if you don't have the right grip
