Sounds good at full volume and without static distortion

The larger Photive gets loud, but the distortion at higher volumes make it unbearable

I can see the logic in that, it limits the distortion

It just does not make sense to me that if the unit was really inspected, that the "inspector" would miss the charging cord and the sound distortion.

Even at a lower volume where it didn’t distort, it kind of sounded like the music was playing through a tunnel.- JBL was much more crisp, even at max volume (little or no distortion)

The sound is good for its size/price, very little distortion if any at full volume, which is a decent volume

Doesn't get that scratchy distortion at high volume and has good bass response at all volume levels
