I do agree with a couple of downsides people have mentioned, though

For the price, I was not expecting anything like a SoundLink - for what it's worth, any reviews comparing them and reducing stars given because they were not impressed are by delusional people

It sounds best inside in smaller rooms but is adequate outsidide in the open air its load enough for a few people hanging out at the beach together but not loud enough to bother other people around you

Easily loud enough for any occasion as long as you don't invite 200 people over

The sound on this speaker is really crisp which is very pleasing considering that it is a $35 speaker and the volume goes pretty high, some people might complain that it is not high enough, but seriously what do you expect it is $35 dollars, and for what it is it works pretty well.

Although this speaker could not be used in a room to entertain several people, it is plenty loud for a one person enhancement for a tablet, mp3 player, or cell phone
