I ground this pretty fine as it extracts a richer flavor than the grind people normally use for a drip coffee maker

but I'll bet they're either grinding it wrong or using a coffee maker that doesn't get the water hot enough to extract enough flavor from the coffee

Personally I still prefer the consistent flavor single-origin coffees, and I have enjoyed all of the AmazonFresh variations I have tried

It is exactly what should be expected from a fresh cup of coffee at a diner or doughnut shop: a medium body, a pleasant coffee flavor with noticeable toasty notes, and a moderate acidity that lingers.

The flavors are more intense because coffee beans contain oils and moisture, and once coffee is ground the moisture decreases rapidly, the oils start to dry up, and the whole thing starts to oxidize.
