I would expect a 4.0GHz processor to at least achieve a 10% overclock -- especially when AMD advertises these as capable of reaching 5.0GHz.

The heat extraction system that comes with it is simply not capable of keeping it cool when pushed which makes sense because AMD runs hot and this is a BEAST of a processor

Just buy amd we have a computer shop we bought top of the line and and intel, they both performed well but amd half the price, so lesson learned no more intel processors for life.

I like this CPU its fairly powerful I have heard AMD isn't good for gaming compared to Intel but Intel is so damn expensive

This AMD 8 core processor is phenomenal.

AMD only tests these at the advertised speed and does not guarantee overclocking capability.

I would recommend liquid cooling as it can get hot

The 4100 is still a great chip, but it wasn't really handling most of the games I had been playing on my rig as well as I would like.

Just be smart and buy yourself a water cooling fan or a good CPU fan in general because the default fan it has sucks but just can't blow nearly as much as it needs
