Great processor, but cpu fan is super loud and makes annoying sound

As a side note make sure you buy an aftermarket CPU cooler, because this sucker runs hot when gaming, and if you use the stock heat-sink it's loud enough that you might wake your neighbors up in their fancy sound-resistant home.

This CPU comes with a crappy stock fan which doesn't keep my cpu cool and the fan is very loud (sounded like a jet plane taking off), especially when I am playing my MMO game and even when I run my Norton full scan

, get Intel, I have seen this kind of recommendations since the phenom ii was released, and I have always went with AMD for my home PC's, and just like I found with the old Athlons, the FX’s, and Phenom II’s, this is an awesome chip for Gaming or any other use you can possibly come up

Like the title says.. this chip got all the power u could need for daily gaming or work station and the Price makes it a most have ítem and if u need a Little more juice u could put some agressive cooling and overclock for a lot more power!
