Stock fan is quiet and runs cool

I have it paired with the hyper 212 which I recommend because the stock fan isn't that great.

but the stock fan is garbage and sounds like a lawn mower

my only gripe is that the stock fan sounds like a jet engine before take off

The stock fan that came with this processor does get very loud under load, so I would suggest getting something like the 212 EVO cooler (if your case is big enough) and good thermal paste to replace it.

Next time I will have to consider buying an Intel CPU, which my son has one and the stock fan is not that loud and it keeps the intel cpu cool.

The stock fan that comes with this though is absolute garbage, It struggles to keep it cool sometimes and Is EXTREMELY noisy, I'd seriously recommend getting an aftermarket cooler like the 212 EVO, ESPECIALLY if you plan on OCing, This thing will turn into a miniature sun lestwise.

, get Intel, I have seen this kind of recommendations since the phenom ii was released, and I have always went with AMD for my home PC's, and just like I found with the old Athlons, the FX’s, and Phenom II’s, this is an awesome chip for Gaming or any other use you can possibly come up

Very Very Fast and Runs Cooler than my old Phenom II 1075T

Loads Linux 64bit PCBSD [ free O/S] off a DVD download

This thing sits at 26-30°C idle and while under the load of gaming while streaming twitch and listening to music I get 50-55°C, so all in all amazing chip

With water cool it idling about 19 C

Temperature idle 25 - 30 C and during 100% cpu load it is around 53 Celcius

Granted this game on ultra settings cannot break 60 FPS even with a Titan/ i7 4990K....

I would recommend liquid cooling as it can get hot

The 4100 is still a great chip, but it wasn't really handling most of the games I had been playing on my rig as well as I would like.

Just be smart and buy yourself a water cooling fan or a good CPU fan in general because the default fan it has sucks but just can't blow nearly as much as it needs
