I would recommend a water cooling system for it if you'really a gamer
-
but, I will say the cooling system that came with this is a nice set up
-
This cpu is a solid product, I got an asus FX990 crosshair formula v z, and some what of a aggressive liquid cooling system
-
Just make sure you have a GReat cooling SYSTEM
-
I did not use the cooling system that came with
-
If you want a cheap way to bump up your system from a phenom II chip, this is the way to go!
-
but I'm sure the stock cooling system that it comes with will be fine as long as your not overclocking anything...
-
Overall the system works fine i managed to overclock the cpu to 4.5ghz which is fine for my intended purposes but will at somepoint down the line be upgrading to some sort of ryzen based system.
-
The new cooling system was shown as an option on the processor when we ordered it.
-
The system would crash with Arctic Silver 5.
-
If you're willing to upgrade, self contained water cooling systems make a build with this CPU much quieter and cooler
-
The AMD FX-8350 may be an old and cheap processor, but if you have a liquid cooled system, you can EASILY overclock to 5.0 GHz at 1.475v and have the GAMING equivalent of an i3 and in some games, an i5.
-
I paired this processor with the ASUS NVIDIA GTX 660 TI (also reviewed), and the system runs like a dream
-
LG Super Multi Blue Blu-Ray Reader/Burner-Cooling System
-
Everything is a lot snappier, CPU-intensive games play butter smooth, multi-tasking is never a burden, and never have I ever felt my current system suffer any latency or bogging down
-
Gets a bit hot so make sure you order a really good liquid cooling system for it.
-
If you want a system to sound smooth and quiet I would consider getting a different cooling system.
-
UPDATE 5-7-14I got a new cooling system "Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus, which I would also recommend", and it is working great now and can handle hard task just fine without any problems.
-
Please notice that this CPU does come with the heat sink, but I got a liquid cooler system and the temp is ok, no noisy and terrible sounds, for
-
But thats not nearly the worst part, my system is significantly less responsive with this processor, I get hang ups a lot, and it makes me wanna break my keyboard, I have never had this issue before.
-
Will try to set up water cooling system with it to bring down the noise factor as well
-
I intend to downgrade my CPU to something less hot, however if bumping up your cooling system isn't an
-
Built an awesome system with this...
-
Day one review: (will update if needed)After getting my CPU installed and Arctic Silver applied to the CPU (I also used a water cooling system instead of the stock fan
-
I intend to downgrade my CPU to something less hot, however if bumping up your cooling system isn't an
-
We run a liquid cooling system
-
Got better results using this chip with liquid cooling system.
-
so I thoroughly recommend using a good water cooling system like an NZXT Kraken X65 or custom loop
-
But when you want buy one, you have to buy system cooling air or water
-
I got the system was completely unstable
-
I have ordered a new liquid cooling system as, I believe the two heat pipes and one fan are just not enough to cool this beast down.
-
Need a good cooling system.
-
A good cooling system is a must have with this processor
-
Super easy, no hassle System
-
I have this paired with a Sapphire R9 270X 4GB Graphics Card and the H 55 liquid cooling system
-
Before I upgraded to a more powerful system this would run all eight cores at 100% (and 16GB memory at 85%) using two Photo software programs and not choke
-
The stock cooling systems with the 8000 and 9000 series are far superior to those below it from AMD
-
System is more responsive and the latest most demanding games are not CPU bound after this upgrade
-
if you are overclocking it you will want a after market fan or liquid cooler system.
-
Would have been better to eliminate the basic cooling fan and only offer it with the upgrade cooling system.
-
It fools most systems though
-
But I did change the fan and used a water cooled system
-
This cpu is a solid product, I got an asus FX990 crosshair formula v z, and some what of a aggressive liquid cooling system
-
I have a very good liquid cooling system and top end fans
-
I currently have the CPU OC'd and running at 4.8 ghz @ 1.375v on an air cooled system
-
Have this in my water cooled system over clocked to 5.0 gig
-
I have a very aggressive liquid cooling system and it was running hot at 5.0 GHz
-
That is only because I had planed to use one when I ordered the AMD I had though that I had gotten the wrong water cooled system and while I was waiting for the new one I used the AMD fan
-

-
Not leading edge, but enough of a jump over my older first gen intel quad core that I was able to build a decent gaming system for under $700 ($400 less than prebuilt and $700-$800 less than a prebuilt Intel I-7 system.)
-
There system is a bit slower due to the lack of Intel SSD caching, but for 75 dollars less than a similar haswell system its hard to beat
-
and I will have one nice system.
-
The one thing to note is that the cooling system that comes with it will get loud, but the noise isn't too much if you just want a solid system
-
My system is very responsive and the programs I run speed through their tasks far faster than I could have ever imagined
-
I put a water cooling system on this chip and run it at 4.6Ghz.
-
Then my Corsair H60 cooling system (not breath taking, but it is PERFECT for its extremely low price for this CPU)
-
The one thing to note is that the cooling system that comes with it will get loud, but the noise isn't too much if you just want a solid system
-
It has been a great system for years, but some of the newer games were just out of its reach.
-
This processor features 8 physical cores running at 4.0 GHz right out of the box, and overclocks to 5.0 GHz with advanced liquid cooling systems and a capable motherboard and power supply configuration
-
I have a very aggressive liquid cooling system and it was running hot at 5.0 GHz
-
the only trouble I had with it was the first day I used it, having neglected to make any modifications to the cooling system in my case
-
I would recommend having a good cooling system as it can run HOT when under big loads.
-
Holy s***.
-
, get Intel, I have seen this kind of recommendations since the phenom ii was released, and I have always went with AMD for my home PC's, and just like I found with the old Athlons, the FX’s, and Phenom II’s, this is an awesome chip for Gaming or any other use you can possibly come up

n’t go wrong with this chip.

Very Very Fast and Runs Cooler than my old Phenom II 1075T
