Didn’t fit quite right, bubbles too difficult to get out of not applied extremely well

My screen protector did not adhere well causing terrible bubbles that will not smooth out

Suspecting that the adhesive material could be bruised by trying to remove the lint, I carefully used the edge of the card supplied (to spread smooth out air bubbles) to gently rub the lint in hopes it would attach to the card and off of the protector.
