    Animal Crossing: New Leaf

    • This is the best of the series, where before Wild World on the DS was my favorite
    • This game has a lot more fun features than the previous "Wild World" game for the Nintendo DS
    • But I had Wild World for a very long time and it has been
    • It is a great slice of a peaceful little world.
    • I am a massive fan of the Animal Crossing series, even though I started with Wild World
    • If you ever owned the guide for Wild World, you'd remember pages of grids and patterns for making your own designs in the Able Sisters shop
    • This game series does not release new titles extremely often, the last one, City Folk, came out back in 2008 for the Wii, and the last handheld title, Wild World, came out back in '05
    • Its technically my second game in the AC series, but I never really got into wild world! This game allows for a lot of creativity and offers the player a lotta support
    • There is so much more to do in New Leaf, than there was in Wild World
    • VERY DISAPPOINTING.This game is not like City Folk or Wild World, though
    • I was playing Wild World, and I think I hadn't eaten or bathed, I didn't care
    • Unlike in Animal Crossing: Wild World, the game has also reintroduced a variety of new holidays that were not seen in that edition of the game, so there is truly almost a reason to play the game anytime during the week
    • Wild World demonstrated this when it came out in 2005 for the Nintendo DS
    • For those who played Wild World, the game is a massive graphical improvement over the DS
    • I have 4 Wild World games and have completed 2 and started over
    • Wild World' had players living together in a dormitory or hostel; 'City Folk' offered a cottage; and 'New Leaf' continues this by customising all aspects of your large home by saving money & reading daily evaluations
    • I started playing animal crossing for the first time on the ds in wild world
    • If you loved Wild World, you are going to go crazy for New Leaf
    • I especially felt it with Wild World, which I replayed recently and shortly found... dull
    • The graphics are obviously improved over Wild World, and are slightly lower resolution than City Folk
    • Do yourself a favor and trade-up your copies of Wild World and/or City Folk for a fresh copy of New Leaf
    • They no longer say the same thing over and over again like in wild world and city folk and they actually do stuff around town like plant flowers and shop now
    • Wild World version for the regular DS.
    • Everyday when I wake up I look outside the window of this god awful world and think to myself, there should be more talking animals
    • I'd say this game is a borderline purchase if you've had Wild World or City Folk
    • I’ve noticed that the game BSoD’s you a lot less on Wi-Fi than Wild World did (although it does pay to save frequently)
    • I tried Wild World, and never really could get into it, never tried the original DS version
    • I've played the original Animal Crossing and Animal Crossing Wild World, but this is better by far
    • There are many new features in this title as compared to Wild World and City Folk.
    • Wild World and this one makes me very happy that it continues that great tradition of Animal Crossing handheld games.(I play without 3D enabled, but the game looks really good when you *do* use it)
    • New Leaf builds upon Wild World, and offers what is without a doubt the best Animal Crossing game to date
    • The last portable incarnation, "Wild World", easily received hundreds of hours of my attention, and despite its myriad of problems, it remains one of the most memorable gaming experiences I've ever had
    • There are so many more things to do in New Leaf than Wild World
    • If you've played City Folk or Wild World, the gameplay isn't revolutionary
    • The game controls are a huge improvement over animal crossing wild world for the ds, with a more intuitive touch screen interface and better graphics in general
    • This is probably my favorite DS game ever and it is such a huge step above the previous versions (City Folk or Wild World)
    • After about a week or so of playing this one, I went back to the old Animal Crossing Wild World to try playing it again, and it just doesn't compare
    • I’ve been a longtime fan of Animal Crossing (ever since middle school), and I played Wild World to death
    • And the good part is, if you like it, you probably won't need another game for months! My Animal Crossing history is just Wild World for DS
    • Compared to wild world, there's SO much more you can do
    • I bought Animal Crossing Wild World
    • This game is the best yet, if you enjoyed how much Wild World improved on the original, you will enjoy this game even more!

    • I used to play animal crossing wild world and wanted to give this a shot

    • This was one area that hurt Wild World a bit (the DS version of Animal Crossing). The gameplay is pretty simplistic, slow-paced, and relaxing
    • My first Animal Crossing game was Wild World, so I'm more inclined to play the games on the DS systems
    • With that being said, it's still a lot like Wild World, which is a bunch of fun, but may be boring to someone who is looking for something new and refreshing
    • Wild World as a christmas gift
    • I will finish with saying, if you own Wild World and are thinking this is just the same game on the new format, forget it
    • Wild World and this one makes me very happy that it continues that great tradition of Animal Crossing handheld games.(I play without 3D enabled, but the game looks really good when you *do* use it)
    • Keeping track of your friends is far easier in New Leaf, too, using a general friend code for the 3DS instead of each individual game (like in Wild World).
    • Played Wild World a long time ago
    • (Wild World) and this one plays so similar to it!The
    • I first fell in love with Animal Crossing when my sister lent me her DS and Wild World
    • Wild World.
    • I'm an aging gamer (40 years), but very much appreciate this alternate world that runs in a parallel time
    • and so I decided to upgrade my dsi XL and wild world for the 3ds and New Leaf
    • The Flea Market allows players to sell their items to visiting players, a feature that was present in the original Animal Crossing but not Wild World or other more recent titles
    • I used to play "Wild World" on my DS back in 2005 and was so hooked for over a year
    • I owned "Wild World" and played it before this
    • I have played Animal Crossing Wild World (DS) and Animal Crossing City Folk (Wii)
    • If you loved Wild World, you are going to go crazy for New Leaf
    • Although I love the Animal Crossing games, this one uses the buttons almost exclusively, unlike Animal Crossing Wild World which was touch screen based.
    • It was basically a console version of the DS game Wild World
    • I played wild world for a bit but got bored after a while and kind of just let it go to waste
    • Unlike in Animal Crossing: Wild World, the game has also reintroduced a variety of new holidays that were not seen in that edition of the game, so there is truly almost a reason to play the game anytime during the week
    • I have been a fan of Animal Crossing since the release of Wild World
    • (I wasn't the biggest fan of either Wild World or City Folk), but New Leaf has proven me wrong
    • As far as the little gems of dialog that I used to screen shot in Wild World... there's not as much of that
    • Some of the characters I found annoying in Wild World are now my favorites in New Leaf
    • This is the best of the series, where before Wild World on the DS was my favorite
    • Ever thought "Man I wish I could *instert wish here* in Wild World"
    • Already I know I will love this as long as I loved Wild World
    • I've played all of the AC games (Wild World for years-was my favorite until this one), and this one is the best
    • I also enjoyed Wild World for the DS
    • Just like animal crossing wild world but improved on so many levels
    • Wild World (but ultimately lost the cartridge, and couldn't afford to buy a new one, as a young teenager), and enjoyed City Folk pretty well, despite my lame 16/17 year old "I might be too old to play this game" phase
    • We have been waiting for a true Wild World sequel for quite some time now, and this game improves every aspect of it
    • And Wild world was taken away
    • say I like it as much as Wild World music
    • There are lots of little similarities to Wild World which I dislike for no other reason than that I grew terribly bored with that game

    • Our family became "hooked" on Animal Crossing Wild World....with even my husband getting a copy and using my daughter's old pink DS to play with us
    • There's SO MUCH MORE STUFF than Wild World (DS)
    • Otherwise it was boring and uneventful, and felt like a glorified Wild World more than anything
    • Wild World and it returned features of the original GameCube game that were omitted from Wild World, such as holidays and an island.
    • I'm not sure if some of these improvements were in wild world or city folk, but as far as I can tell:PROS:-The controls are NOT screwed
    • I honestly quit playing Wild World shortly after starting
    • (I did not have a DS at the time Wild World was released, nor did I have a Gamecube for the original Animal Crossing.
    • Wild World for the DS and normally don't enjoy portable games
    • What a step up from Animal Crossing Wild World
    • I have played the DS version (Wild World) and Wii version (City Folk) but found they lacked some of my favorite things from the GameCube version, and was happy to see New Leaf come out with some new twists
    • They play true to the Animal Crossing feeling, and in my opinion look far better than Wild World did on my flat screen on the screen of my Pikachu 3DS XL
    • The graphics are much better than in Wild World and more customization is available, which is fun
    • Remember the cabbie who drove you to your town in Wild World
    • Wild World before
    • Wild World
    • The translation from home console to portable was already well executed with Animal Crossing Wild World for the Nintendo DS
    • I played Wild World as a child, so when I was replacing my stolen games, I upgraded to New Leaf and am so happy with it

    • The improvements from Wild World are so much greater
    • For those of you who played Wild World and might be worried that New Leaf has the same restrictions, it doesn't

    • I also enjoyed Wild World for the DS
    • Just like animal crossing wild world but improved on so many levels
    • I did basically everything you could in Wild World from filling the museum to putting the max bells in the Town Hall, and without an Action Replay
    • It has the same charm that the original, Wild World, and City Folk had, but it really irons out the kinks and makes it a smooth, intuitive, and altogether fun experience.
    • Already I know I will love this as long as I loved Wild World
    • So I bought my own animal crossing wild world for the ds
