    Animal Crossing

    • In the town, the time passes like a real day
    • But no matter what it is, the main charm of this game is the diversity, and the willingness to hide much of that diversity until the time is right.
    • Like the Dreamcast game Seaman, time passes in Animal Crossing in real time, even when your Gamecube is off
    • Between the two of us, this game was running from around 7:00 a.m. (very good fishing time in the town my character lives in, not to mention the grandson was still sleeping) until approximately 11:30 p.m. (good time to pull weeds, shake trees for spending currency and get a little more fishing in!).I was pretty surprised by how much I enjoyed just puttering my little character around in this imaginary world that I actually just ordered MY OWN COPY of the game to KEEP at my house
    • Be prepared to say goodbye to your free time for a while if you get this.
    • As a human who just moved to a new town filled with anthropomorphic animals, your time will be spent improving said town and building relationships with said animals.
    • That part makes it much more fun instead of playing "actual time" every day.
    • This is just as bad as "The Sims Online" (another boring, pointless real-time game).
    • please.just play like 2 hours each time you want to.i got all 3 houses filled with
    • Seeing as a high percentage of kids these days play video games, playing them with your Children, can be a useful bonding time, like old school Family Game Night, with Board games
    • If you don't play the game for a week, the next time you do your neighbors will wonder where you have been and there will be weeds growing all over town
    • But I had fun the entire time
    • I picked this game up about a year ago, thinking it would be a ok game to kill some time until I could afford new RPG.
    • I have heard it causes some "bugs" including: not being able to hear music in your house unless your close to the tape deck (this I have verified to be true), and trees taking too long to grow (I think this is also true, but may be corrected by slowing down time traveling to only a single day at a time).
    • I picked this game up about a year ago, thinking it would be a ok game to kill some time until I could afford new RPG.
    • I 'moved' into his neighborhood and what a great time I had!
    • If you don't play the game for a week, the next time you do your neighbors will wonder where you have been and there will be weeds growing all over town
    • It's not so much about achieving a specific objective (e.g. fighting bad guys, saving the world, etc.) as it is about just hanging out, making friends, living your life, and having a good time
    • i think its grate how you braing you dude to other towns and get apples and other fruts and that good stuff it good a goodtimeing scdual like its dark when its dark it snowing its hot ist day time the leavs on the ground
    • It was a magical time back then
    • I think the Sims should learn from this as well as the time frame for a day in the Sims was terribly fast
    • She changes the time so that she can celebrate Christmas, Halloween, Easter, and New Years any time she wants
    • WASTING YOUR TIME RENTING THIS, YOU'VE GOT MY SEAL OF
    • I am 13 years old, so in my free time, I usually play video games
    • Also, I work night shift, so I change night to day...or just tweak the time enough to get Tom Nook's store to open
    • and since you have no time limit to do so,you can taake your sweet time or not even pay it off and buy stuff for your house
    • So you have to work part-time in Nook's store
    • And they've mastered the platformer countless times be it a Mario in the second or third dimension.
    • Right now is kind-of a weird time to play because it will be winter when you first start playing, but restassured that spring will be coming soon
    • Its non violent, teaches responsibility, the seasons and the time change jut like in the real world
    • My daughter (8) has this game for more than half a year and still has a great time plaing with it
    • Which basically means you have to have a lot of free time to play this game
    • Very fun time-killer game
    • If you keep interacting with the townsfolk all day and all night, they will not get their much needed sleep and will tend to be very curt with you the next time you turn on your Game Cube
    • No time limits, no restrictions and all relaxing fun
    • Very fun time-killer game
    • The time changes like in the real world (not like the sims)!
    • I had a little bit of a hard time writing letters at first, I got a lot of mean letters back saying they couldn't understand me.
    • If you just want to kill time then play
    • and they are having as much fun as I
    • Personally, I enjoy little antics and innovations like this, but in Animal Crossing, you can even swipe the E-Reader classic games and be able to play them on your Nintendo (if you buy one from Tom Nook)
