Anker was kind enough to provide a replacement, while I haven't used it enough yet to comment on the durability, Good customer service is always appreciated and

BUT that would only work when Anker confirms that the Mac driver works for El Capitan, which I'm not sure they have done yet.

We gladly pay a few bucks more for Anker products they work really well.

It works great and Anker is so lucky to have Laura as an asset.

The Anker has not the worst, but similar to the latter style; every time you fold it, it will retain a memory of that bend: it won't ever go completely straight again, but will not revert to it's original style

I'm not removing a star for the driver issue, because that's not Anker's fault, MacOS should be better about detecting and finding drivers (although I suppose it's possible that Anker could work harder to get it published, but I suspect Apple make that a nightmare of a process

The Anker adapter is solidly made, and worked well with my Dell laptop that has a USB 3.0 port but no Ethernet port.

This adapter by Anker works well as it plugs right into the USB port of the laptop and a wired Ethernet connection plugs into the Anker adapter

Without a doubt, I would purchase this product again and also recommend Anker.

No issues with drives disconnecting when the computer sleeps and no issues with Ethernet when the computer sleeps / wakes (download the driver for OS X from the Anker support site)

This is the only Anker product I've ever disliked, and that's because it became so hot that it gave me second-degree burns on my hand that I had to have treated in the ER.

My wireless USB mouse does not work well with this hub, but then I've found wireless mice tend not to work well on any hubs, so I can't really blame Anker for that

Exactly what I needed to expand USB ports for my Surface Pro 3 as well as to get an ethernet connection.

A hub is no good in my book if it doesn't transfer as fast as if directly connected to the port
