Excelent product and works perfect but in matter of time heats up.

My first one worked great for just over a year, until (like other reviewers have mentioned) the cable on the adapter side had worn and made intermittent connection

USB 3.0 works great too.

Else its a solid design, the ethernet works well.

This adapter by Anker works well as it plugs right into the USB port of the laptop and a wired Ethernet connection plugs into the Anker adapter

However, the USB does work well for charging my phone and other electronics.

This works great with Linux (Ubuntu 16.04 w/ 4.6.2 kernel).

The replacement device they sent worked perfectly right out of the box - no issues at all.

This worked great for the first few weeks, and now has suddenly died - and is essentially useless.

Other USB peripherals work great with the Anker hub, including my printer, external USB 3.0 backup drive, and syncing with my iPhone

Solid Product, works, well with both 3.0 and 2.0 usb ports

That said, the replacement adapter is working flawlessly, and I applaud Anker support for standing behind their product
