Haven't tested it at max capacity, but it seems to work well charging multiple devices at a time

As no current popular devices require such a high amperage, this happens only when the cable or device is malfunctioning (usually a major or micro short circuit)

Con's: There is no light to let you know the device is working, you can power up a device connected to it, to confirm charging is actually happening, but I'd rather just look at the charger and know its working

I am going to assume that my experience is unique, but my advice to you is to keep the packaging until you are sure the device is working properly

This Charger unit uses standard USB "A"; so you may need to get a variety of cords that have USB "A" that plugs into this charger, and then USB "Micro", or "Mini", or "Type-C" (my favorite).
