It will charge an iPad if not in use; charging while watching videos or playing games will not get you the same result, but will keep it (iPad) from draining nearly as fast while charging slightly in the process depending on what you’re doing, apps you’re using, etc

Only downer for me was that (my fault) i mistook quick charge feature to be the qualcomm quick charge so just keep in mind if you have a galaxy s7 phone or similar the supports fast charging do not buy this model
