I think this product is some kind of rubber, but the mesh, the holes in the back make the design look better and fancier as well maintain the light weight of the case
I think this product is some kind of rubber, but the mesh, the holes in the back make the design look better and fancier as well maintain the light weight of the case
You could also choose to use the included USB-A to USB-C cable, but as a matter of principle and compliance to the standard this really grinds on me; really poor design choice

Dropped the product on hard gravel and only left a few scratches, but no dents to the case or noticeable changes to the charging capacity
Others have suggested that using an iPad 12w charger along with the included "cheater" type-c to type-a cable will work; perhaps, though it will probably try to draw slightly more
From what I understand, this is an inherent problem with USB-C and not this product in particular.-1 star because the included USB-C cable broke after 4 months of continuous use.
All in all, the Anker PowerCore+ is a great product for a great price and a must-buy for the owners of USB C compatible devices.
Be mindful of using an appropriate USB type-C cable to charge newer devices, as you may mistakenly believe this product to be defective due to a poor cable not meeting USB specs
This charger didn't seem to lose any charge in standby as I never had to worry about it being dead after not using for extended periods of time
Very nice High-Capacity Premium External Battery, Portable Charger for the Nexus 6P with the USB-C charging port
I've had this battery for about a week, you can charge any devices in the market with this portable charger
This is the only portable charger I use to charge my macbook besides apple's charger

Great battery pack, one of few I could find that charged via USB C. Charges my phone very quickly too.
Pretty sure Dell did this so that you buy their expensive $200plus battery pack for this
Outstanding battery pack for all of your USB charging needs!
The best battery pack to travel with if you have the new MacBook 12".Being able to charge this battery pack over USB-C is the best feature

Good, verified battery capable of using USB-C for both charging itself, and other devices
Only I wishes is that the pack in cables were higher quality and I wish Anker sold there own hard case as an option.
This comes with a handy carrying case for throwing in your backpack or bag
We suggest Anker consider a digital LCD readout of % charge remaining (or % full when charging, by sensing which port is occupied), but still... this battery is a high-capacity winner!NOTE: if you plan to travel with it, we highly recommend getting a hard case
Even comes with a decent case that I use to hold the battery and a cable for my iphone
Works well can charge several devices at the same time on a single charge of the battery.
The device provides some voltage when cold, but the voltage drops below a usable point when anything attempting to draw amperage using the usb-c port (highest amperage), and the charging stops
:I would definitely recommend this device to anyone looking for a reliable ultra-high capacity portable charger, especially if you own any USB-C devices.
warned that if the PowerCore completely drains while charging a USB-C device, it may unexpectedly flip direction so your phone/tablet starts charging the battery pack instead
Can't charge a device while charging this, pretty disappointing
Good, verified battery capable of using USB-C for both charging itself, and other devices

I wanted to love this, the USB c to USB c wire that came with it was trash
I wanted to love this, the USB c to USB c wire that came with it was trash
Couple this with some sort of loose connection and a *shallow* USB-C jack (I've tried multiple USB-C cables, the problem comes and goes, but most cables don't go 100% into the unit - see the attached image), and if my phone is charging and then reconnects, it immediately begins draining my phone to charge the portable battery.
at no time did I feel like there was a problem with the unit
In comparison to the other two PowerCore+ batteries, the 13400 and the 10050, this external battery cannot be Quick (re)Charged, although in my honest opinion I wouldn't like to Quick Charge a battery of this capacity as that could possibly decrease the battery life and speed up decay, so no problems there
The only complaint I have other than the lack of a Lightning cable, is the fact that there is no ac adapter for charging included in the box, but this small problem is easily overlooked
However, I have a problem that absolutely infuriates me with my Nexus 6P and USB-C charging, and I can't recommend this unit
However, only 4 stars thanks to a horrible, terrible problem that comes up next in Design.[DESIGN = 1 STAR] - Physically, the unit is sleek
