Battery worked fine, but questionable USB-C port quality

I'd highly recommend this product to travelers, or anyone that frequently burns through portable device batteries easily.

I bought this battery as a gift and it turned out the battery had a fault that wouldn’t allow it to be charged or charge other items

So, I've been looking for a good portable battery for my Nintendo Switch, but it's been hard because up until now there have only been 2 power delivery batteries on the market

But if you have to choose between screaming kids or a $100 backup battery

First, the Powercore doesn't seem to support pass through charging, meaning that you can’t plug your phone in to the battery, then the battery into the wall to charge both

The utilization of the USB - C charging port provides a quick 4 hour charge if the battery is completely drained

In overall, I am able to charge my Galaxy S9 roughly 10 times from a completely drained battery and almost 12 times for my iPhone 8

So far, it came in a nice box, the portable battery itself is heavy, but it's just as heavy as my old crappy 20 dollar one from a different company

This battery came highly recommended at several Nintendo Switch websites, as well as the Mac website iMore which also covers the Switch

Significant reliability issue here for an expensive battery.

It charges up fairly quickly compard to other battery backups I’ve used and it gives me probably about 6-8 hours of play time once the Switch’s own battery is depleted, plus a couple phone charges

This portable battery is highly recommended if you have power hungry electronics on the go, in all honesty you should be picking it up instead of listening to me gush about it.

For day to day usage I recommend a smaller battery.
