A week after I posted my initial review, Anker sent me a new cable and it works great

Even though Anker couldn’t exchange a new cable for the faulty one, Anker promptly refunded me the cable cost

Anyway the new cables are working great so far and Anker has been outstanding to deal with

These cables barely ever break and if they do break, Anker replaces them.

Anker should work more on the connection part rather than making it too tough.
