I’d like to defer any fault to Anker because I believe that apple’s weak design is to blame for this durability issue.

I bought this (and other) Anker wires in an attempt to be through with this same type of problem, seen on Apple standard issue cables.

n’t use the actual crappy Apple cables (that usually break within only a short period of time), they stop working with your phone after a while

If I have to replace these Anker ones every year may as well get the cheap Apple ones and replace those yearly.

This is really a classy Apple charger for the price and comes with a very nice looking grey colored pouch

After replacing numerous cheap-o Apple cords, I splurged & bought this.

The wire is also very sturdy and not like the Apple chargers which split after a few months of use

6 foot Lightning Cable has been one of the few cables that has survived the rigor of daily use as well as at the hands of two tiny terrors that have destroyed other cables.
