The cable is pretty thick and seems durable not like the flimsy usb cable that came with my edge plus.- It does give me the same adaptive fast charging capability as the cable that came with the s6 edge

This cord is twice as thick, and i have had no problems with it getting hot, or not fast charging

I've plugged the 6ft cord in with 2 different Samsung adaptive fast charging ac adapters, and an Anker brand car charger with fast capabilities, and only get 'cable charging' status

A little slow charging

I bought a 3ft and a 6ft version of the power line cord after reading reviews that it was compatible with fast charging

I just needed a good quality cable capable of handling fast charge

Currently using the cable with the galaxy s6 edge plus and it does give fast charging as indicated by the phone itself
