Therefore if this happens, at say 3am, it wakes me up, with this obnoxious noise

The only issue I have with it is that when you use the buttons on it (rather than on your phone/device) it pauses the music, takes a second or two to respond and makes a loud beep noise

I used to have jbl speakers and they would make this annoying weird noise, but these sound great, they work with bluetooth and aux easily, with no weird annoying configuration, they just work.

Oddly, I prefer the quality of sound on the one that made the loud beeping noise than the 2 and the original one is smaller
