Battery life is fantastic, I tend to flip flop between NC and non-NC modes depending if I want to know what's going on around me a little more, but hours of use are expected from either mode

Good headphones and long battery life with or without NC but build quality sucks since 8 months of use and the ear cup pad cover is separating from the headphone

I've trialled the NC with a variety of background noises, and wish to stress that they won't drown out "sudden impact" type noise (as from how I understand NC headphones to work, none really do), but a continuous, droning type noise all but disappears (vehicle engine, dishwasher, vaccuums, whining child

Occasionally the audio gets very static-y (usually while streaming video for a few hours)

It ruins the sound quality, and is SUPER static-y

Sony knows this well, as I fumbled and accidentally turned off my music or changed the volume or song accidentally about a dozen times on their headphones

but I can very well solve this issue but sanding down some of the edges a little

All in all a great investment, if mine were lost or stolen I'd be replacing them immediately
