Doesn't work that well with portable hard drives

I tried to connect a portable hard drive, a usb pointing device, and my iPhone charger and they all did not get recognized.

Surprisingly solid feel and the arrangement of ports allows for simultaneous use of odd sized flash drives.

I didn’t have to have my hard drives in the back of my pc

After having trying this unit straight out of the box, it required several attempts to recognize a second USB hard drive, not sure why.

The hub would not work with any external hard drive that I connected to it, externally powered and USB powered alike

If you have a phone, tablet, that requires a 2-amp charge, or a 3.5" external hard drive, this hub will not work for you

When I have my mouse receiver plugged into it and then plug in my external hard drive, I realize that the mouse receiver stops responding, so I am not sure if it's the hard drive that is taking up all the power from the hub
