Doesn't work that well with portable hard drives

I tried to connect a portable hard drive, a usb pointing device, and my iPhone charger and they all did not get recognized.

After having trying this unit straight out of the box, it required several attempts to recognize a second USB hard drive, not sure why.

The hub would not work with any external hard drive that I connected to it, externally powered and USB powered alike

If you have a phone, tablet, that requires a 2-amp charge, or a 3.5" external hard drive, this hub will not work for you
