I got this for my PS4 because the design of the PS4 has the two USB ports in a wierd slit that makes it hard to plug in certain devices, but this works like a charm now I can plug any device in easily, plus I have double the USB drives so a win win, I highly recommend this item for PlayStation Gamers

Finally I tried the new hub in another computer with a different controller and found no problem with it, so it is obvious the problem lies in the Texas Instrument USB3 controller in my computer, despite it has the latest driver and have been working well without the hub
